We had 6 for our impromptu prayer and praise this morning. The Lord moved in our midst, and I think all who came were pleased they had.
In so doing we discovered it was really pretty easy driving. The streets are pretty well melting. Maybe you've been out too. Tuckahoe St. has been plowed already (although they left a mound of icy snow on the church side of the street).
There's been a bit of shoveling done, though it's not as clear as last week, when we had more hands at work. But 3 entrances on the front and one on the back are fairly well cleared and salted. There is also a path shoveled through the plow-made barrier into the Patterson end parking lot. That's probably the best place to park if you come to church. There is a path up to the Patterson entrance.
The office will be open for business tomorrow. I'm telling the staff to come late, or not to come at all if they feel at all at risk. But I think most or all will be able to come quite easily.
We will be having ministry night tomorrow. If you're on a ministry team, you can call your team leader to see if you're meeting. After another day of sun and above freezing temps, I believe we'll be safe going in and out even after dark on Monday.
